Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculation

BMI is a standard reference ratio of height vs. weight.  Alone, this is not an indicator of your current health.  But it can give you an indication of potential health risks in the future, or it will provide you with information about why some current health problems may exist.  In addition to having a higher risk for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and heart disease, a high BMI can contribute to muscle and joint fatigue.

A wellness screening with RVOH will give you this number as well as other important information such as your heart rate, blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose levels.
